Principal internal auditor (Ref HTD/113/PIA)

Exciting opportunities in Health care located in Oghara, Delta State our client is a tertiary health institution offering qualitative health care services, research, undergraduate and post-graduate training. The institution is currently embarked on a major expansion program designed to position it as the leading healthcare institution in the country. To meet increasing need for strategic leadership, the institution now seeks to strengthen the workforce and invites applications from professionals who wish to offer their services on a full time or contract basis, seasoned professionals who have recently retired from active services, as well as all suitable qualified candidates for the following positions.

Reporting to the chief internal auditor, you will prepare audit programs independently or as part of a team. In this capacity you will:

Determine the type of audit required, the appropriate methodology and the steps to be followed in the audit.

Conduct audit entrance and exit conferences with executive staff.

Prepare work papers and conduct audits of manual and automated systems in accordance with applicable audit programs and generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS).

Minimum of ten years experience in audit services gained from multinational/sizable organizations.

Registered with any of the recognized accounting bodies

Excellent management and interpersonal skills, and a high level of integrity.
