Principal Engineer for System Architectures eSIM & Mobile Security (f/m/div)

Together with our trusted and potential customers, you influence and innovate application roadmaps in the connected secure systems division. Your role will be the central interface to transform our customer’s requirements into cutting edge solutions.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Engage with our customers and act as a senior technical advisor to establish trust in Infineon’s security solutions
• Analyze and structure application requirements for Infineon’s software and services architecture, technologies, methodologies
• Drive the definition of our products based on customer requirements and application understanding
• Bring in knowledge and expertise of eSIM software and services
• Influence standardization authorities worldwide and provide requirements for Infineon’s offerings
• Engage in technical trend scouting and drive pre-development of next-generation application features

Your Profile

As a System Architect for eSIM & Mobile Security, you focus your efforts on finding solutions that offer added value for both sides. Furthermore, you are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation and you are open to new ideas and receptive to other ways of thinking or working. Lastly, you commit yourself to the results of your own team and the company as a whole.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• At least 6 years of professional experience with Mobile Security at card manufacturers, semiconductor companies or related industries
• Deep understanding of technical specifications related to Mobile Security like GSMA, ETSI, GlobalPlatform, Java Card
• An independent working style with the ability to work with different teams
• Excellent skills in listening to various view-points, incorporating them, articulating the value of solutions and defending the architectural choice
• Excellent English language skills, German language skills as a plus
