Principal Application Engineer - SSCB

As a member of CD product line, you act as technical marketing expert supporting sales team and customers in GC and beyond. With your technical expertise in power electronics and with your solid business acumen, you are hungry to identify and enable business opportunities for the SSCB business segment. You are able to translate your deep intimacy of Chinese business culture into concrete actions, and act as an ambassador inside global GCO organization for mindset change and need for speed and agility.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Orchestrate product technical support and technical collaterals for GCO (Green Energy Control) products to GC (Greater China) customer and FAE teams.
• Drive autonomously the technical design-in activities for GCO product
• Drive the technical definition of GCO product solutions targeting SSCB application for GC market.
• Contribute to the business segment roadmaps (e.g. product RM, innovation RM)
• Drive technical partnership at key customers , build up relationship and influence key decision makers at customer
• Setup and drive technical partnership form concept to prototyping with local partner ecosystem
• Enable the FAE community with product trainings and roadmap updates
• Act as the local PL representative for standardization groups andindustry associations

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable
• At least 10 years professional experience within semiconductor power electronic market, as application engineer, system engineer, concept engineer or alike.
• Good working knowledge of power semiconductor technologies, incl: widebandgap, discretes, modules, gate drivers.
• Familiarity with SSCB application alike (Solid State Relays, SolidState Circuit Breakers, Hybrid Circuit -Breakers, Contactors, PowerDistribution Switches, Surge Protection Devices, Pre-chargers,…)
• Proven track record to drive successfully product definition at keycustomer accounts
• Demonstrated high customer orientation
• Ability to manage stakeholders in a global organization
• Intimate with Chinese business culture
• Excellent English and Chinese communication skills
• Strongly self-driven providing feedback/taking corrective actions (also beyond own function)
