Mentis AI is recruiting Primary Care Physicians based in the United States to participate in an upcoming AI project scheduled to begin in two weeks.

This is an opportunity for U.S licensed clinicians interested in shaping how AI understands and augments real-world clinical reasoning, patient interactions, and healthcare delivery.

As part of our expert network, you’ll be matched to one of several AI initiatives based on your experience, subspecialty interest, and clinical background. You’ll collaborate with AI researchers to review, label, evaluate, and refine AI systems built to support healthcare professionals and enhance patient outcomes.

This role is fully remote, flexible, and ideal for physicians balancing clinical, academic, or research commitments.

As a clinical expert, you’ll have hands-on exposure to frontier AI model development, partnering with top researchers and medical professionals to contribute your expertise to projects that will directly influence healthcare technology and practice.

Project Overview

Our upcoming project launches in mid-April, with onboarding now open. Selected clinicians will be assigned to a dedicated workstream best suited to their profile and expertise:

  • Clinical Note & Record Review: Label and summarize clinical documentation to train and validate model understanding.

  • Model Evaluation: Assess AI-generated medical content and recommendations for clinical accuracy, safety, and reasoning quality.

  • Prompt Design & Testing: Develop and refine clinical prompts to improve model response quality and reliability.

  • Error & Feedback Analysis: Identify and document patterns or limitations in model outputs to support fine-tuning and improve model performance.

Each area contributes to ensuring the safety, accuracy, and clinical integrity of the next generation of medical AI systems.

Requirements

  • Licensed MD in the United States with active state medical license

  • US Board Certified

  • Strong familiarity with primary care workflows, documentation, and terminology

  • Excellent analytical, written, and clinical summarization skills

  • Native or near-native English proficiency

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical accuracy

  • Comfortable working independently and asynchronously in a distributed team environment
