Job description

Essential Job Functions

  • Analyzes market prices and data, identifies cost requirements and overhead. 
  • Negotiates top lanes of RFQ in the Americas Region 
  • Develops solutions to support client requirements in RFQ for Americas 
  • Maintains and uploads database with current market rates for Americas 
  • Works with Crane Freight on pickup and line haul strategies to support the RFQ in North America 
  • Other duties as assigned

            • Strong computer skills associated with the utilization of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project

                    Physical Requirements

                    • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
                    • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
                    • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
                    • Job will require punctual attendance and regular presence on-site at the assigned work location.

                    Education & Experience

                    • High School Diploma or equivalent required 
                    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
                    • 3 years experience in bid preparation/sales support 
                    • Industry experience a plus
