Press Operator

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work safely and be quality conscious

• Strong attention to detail

• Safely operate power tools and manufacturing equipment

• Able to read a tape measure

• Comprehend and follow instructions

• Ability to understand and follow established work procedures and instructions, including mandated safety guidelines

• Ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods

• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Follow timelines and schedules

• Work as and contribute to being a team

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and situations as they arise, notifying appropriate staff of problems beyond scope of normality

• Other duties as assigned

• Operate pallet jacks and carts to move parts between operations

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to lift up to 50 lb individually and 100 lbs. with a team lift on a consistent basis

  • Has the ability to move tooling by pushing, pulling, or bending, up to 50lbs

  • Using hands to tighten bolts and manipulate parts of various sizes.

  • Walking to retrieve and put away mandrels and metal plates weighing up to 50 Lbs.

• Must be able to read, write and speak English

• Good hand eye coordination

Work Schedule:

• 1st shift: Monday – Friday 6am-2:30pm

• We also have a swing shift available that is Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm

• Overtime and weekend hours as needed
