Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a pre-sales and support engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs, resources, and timelines for control system automation projects & service contracts. This role requires ability to develop strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent professional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project requirements and specifications to estimate costs, resources, and timelines.
• Develop accurate cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and tenders for control system automation projects/maitnenance contracts
• Collaborate with service delivery teams to understand project scope, technical requirements, and potential risks.
• Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, pricing, and technologies.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project outcomes.
• Continuously improve estimation processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Control, Automation, or related field).
• 1-3 years of experience in control system automation proposals estimation or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of control system automation technologies (e.g., PLC, DCS, SCADA).
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Excel, MS Project).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with automation platforms (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, ABB).
• Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.
• Certification in proposal estimation or a related field.
