In this role, you will work with a global team from Policy, Enforcement, Product, Engineering, Tools, Legal and other teams to safeguard the platform's integrity, mitigate risk, and manage content trends to identify potential Community Guideline violations. You will evaluate abuse trends and quality within vendor operations, and develop creative solutions to address quality, workflows and processes. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, including policy development, legal, engineering, and product, which is essential to developing and implementing enforcement strategies that address the evolving tests of content moderation.At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. Responsibilities

• Ensure quality enforcement of YouTube’s community guidelines. Research and stay up-to-date on key Graphic Violence trends and abuse patterns across policy areas.
• Oversee YouTube’s enforcement operations, including monitoring performance against operational health metrics, overseeing scaled operations with quality, and driving efforts to optimize tooling solutions.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders on Graphic Violence-related issues and policy escalations, and communicate initiatives to the organization, including local teams.
• Review controversial, graphic and offensive video content in line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, content moderation operations, organizational optimization or a related field.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, weekends, holidays, and on shift-based schedules as required.
• Ability to communicate in English and Hindi or Telugu fluently to support policy management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in content policy, anti-abuse, news, or reviewing online content and identifying abuse trends.
• Experience with SQL and spreadsheet software, with excellent problem-solving skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally at multiple levels and across geographies.
