Plumbing Repair Assistant - Sun Valley

As a Jetting & Repair Assistant for L.A. Hydro-Jet & Rooter Services, you will work alongside Technicians to set up job sites, assist with equipment, and ensure safe and efficient execution of plumbing and drain projects. This role is hands-on and requires physical work, attention to detail, and a professional approach when interacting with customers and property managers.

WHAT  L.A. HYDRO-JET  NEEDS FROM YOU:

• Ride with Technicians to job sites and assist with project setup.
• Provide and organize necessary tools and equipment.
• Assist with drain cleaning, drain repairs, and commercial/residential projects.
• Help minimize water damage and support cleanup efforts.
• Remove sewer caps, drag hoses, and clear access points as needed.
• Maintain safe work practices and follow all company protocols.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

• 1–3 years of related plumbing, drain cleaning, or construction experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Consistently punctual and reliable. 
• Ability to lift/move 35 lbs regularly, 100 lbs frequently, and occasionally more than 200 lbs.
• Comfortable working in varied environments, including outdoors and confined spaces.
• Willingness to adapt to schedule changes and assist in both Jetting and Repair departments as needed.

L.A. Hydro-Jet and Rooter Service determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay for this position is $21/hr. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
