Job Summary
SummaryEnsure all plumbing systems operate as designed, including routine installations, maintenance, and testing of equipment and systems, calibrations, and repair and related piping. Work on special projects and programs to support construction and renovation projects. Monitor the installation and repair of equipment and systems by contractors during construction and renovation projects.

Essential Functions
-Piping systems for water, sewage, gas, steam, and air are installed, repaired, and maintained per department standards.
-Replacement parts, materials, and tools are ordered and maintained to meet the needs of work orders.
-Emergency and routine repairs are responded to within department time frames.
-Stock and material lists are prepared to complete work order requests and other routine work.
-Daily rounds are completed to ensure mechanical equipment is functioning and malfunctions are reported to appropriate parties.
- Documentation reflects repairs, replacement parts, and adjustments as per department and regulatory guidelines.
-Assistance is provided to the various trades in the installation, maintenance, or basic repair of equipment, piping, electric, HVAC systems, and various other duties per department standards.
-Preventive maintenance program is performed and maintained per established time frames.
-Complies with all policies and standards.
