Platform Engineer-Java/Perl/Python (70003)

IDEALFORCE have a Contract-to-Hire position available immediately for a Platform Engineer-Java/Perl/Python to join our customer in Santa Clara, CA. This is an ONSITE position. Design & Implement all aspects at the platform level for hardware,software integrated engineered solutions. 
This includes hardware,Virtualization,OS,Networking,Storage etc 

University degree in Computer Science or related discipline 
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
- Experience with scripting languages/tools like Java scripting,is a must Perl,Python,Tcl .
- Sound knowledge of Unix Networking - TCP/IP, Layer 2 (Switches,VLANs, Bonding, STP, LACP etc) is a plus 
- Sound knowledge of Linux/Solaris OS internals, automated install/setup, configuration, patching etc for enterprise applications is a plus. 
- Sound knowledge and programming experience on any Routers or Switches is a plus 
- A good team player
