A dynamic Opportunity exists with a well known Medical Device Manufacturer in the Central Ma Area.

With an in-depth understanding of Medical Device products, makes design changes to existing products, ensuring compatibility through appropriate testing.  Assignments have clear and specified objectives and require the investigation of several variables.  Provides engineering and technical support to production with respect to product specifications and requirements.  Guides the successful completion of major programs or projects.

Responsible for developing, modifying, implementing and supporting things through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices.  Solves technical problems using engineering and statistical techniques.  Interfaces with customers and suppliers on high-volume disposable medical device manufacture.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to effectively present information to top management.  Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.  Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases.  Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

5+ years in Elastomer Engineering, preferably within Medical Devices

 

BS in Engineering, Materials Science or affiliated
