đź’Ľ Job Overview:

Role Overview The Planning Engineer will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and forecasting across engineering, procurement, and construction phases. The role also supports delay analysis, EOT submissions, and ensures accurate reporting, documentation, and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain baseline schedules (Primavera P6 / MS Project) including WBS, milestones, and critical path

•Monitor progress, update schedules, and perform variance analysis (SPI, delays, float)

•Develop, consolidate, and submit weekly/monthly progress reports (PPRs) to client and management

•Prepare project dashboards, S-curves, and look-ahead plans for internal and external stakeholders

•Track Planned vs Actual performance and highlight early warnings for delays

•Perform forecasting and completion projections, recommending recovery plans where required

•Integrate procurement, FAT, and delivery schedules into the master plan

•Maintain risk register and conduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA) for delay events

•Support preparation of EOT claims, delay notices, and contractual correspondence

•Maintain planning records, logs, and document version control in coordination with document control

•Coordinate with engineering, procurement, site teams, and client/consultant for schedule alignment

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial or equivalent)

•3 to 5 years of experience in EPC / construction / industrial projects •Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project

•Strong knowledge of planning, forecasting, and delay analysis

•Experience in progress reporting, S-curves, and dashboards

•Familiarity with EOT processes and contractual frameworks

•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
