Overview:

Sentara Health is looking to hire a Remote Planner Strategist.

This is a remote position: Remote opportunities available in the following states: Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming 

The Planner Strategist supports the market and strategic analysis activities as they relate to near- and long-term strategic planning and the analysis of business opportunities within the corporation. Works with multi-disciplinary teams that may consist of executives, managers and employees to update service line or regional plans, complete competitor and market analysis, identify and vet growth opportunities, and develop business cases accordingly.

 The individual coordinates the assessment of market position, trends, demographics, providing objective data and analysis that enables planning teams to surface issues, make informed decisions and achieve strategic goals. Supports the corporation's efforts to grow volumes and market share, participates in new business development and is accountable for fulfilling the organization's mission, vision and strategic imperatives through the development and execution of assigned projects.
 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or Public Health (required).
  •  Masters preferred. Will consider related Business degrees such as Finance or Accounting.

Experience:

  • 2 years Business Development OR Strategic Planning Experience (required).
  • Healthcare Experienced (preferred).
  • Data Analytics including PowerBI and Data Bricks (preferred)
  • Healthcare Claims Data experience (preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is: $79,497.6 – $132,496.  Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities
