Planner

[What the role is]

You will play an integral part in the physical and land use planning of new HDB towns and estates, as well as rejuvenation planning for existing ones. You will contribute to shaping Singapore's public housing landscape through masterplanning, digital planning tools, and cross-agency collaboration.

[What you will be working on]

• Conduct masterplanning and land use planning for new HDB towns and estates, as well as rejuvenation planning for existing ones, to create good living environments for residents.
• Carry out planning research and analysis to support the formulation of planning strategies, guidelines, and programmes for implementation.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies on land use proposals, development plans, and facilities provision, including securing the necessary planning approvals and clearances.
• Engage with stakeholders to evaluate proposals, respond to queries and consultations, and safeguard the interests of HDB residents.
• Explore and develop digital planning tools and applications to enhance planning and urban design capabilities, improve work processes, and support data-driven decision-making.

[What we are looking for]

• Degree in Town Planning, Urban & Regional Planning, or a related discipline; relevant town planning experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and familiarity with planning and data analytics tools and applications.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with data and able to collaborate effectively within a team.

Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract.
