Pizzaiolo, NY Style Pizza

We are a family owned pizzeria and are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza and Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in food preparation and cooking.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices
• Great team player
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
• Provide exceptional service by ensuring that each pizza meets quality standards before serving

Experience

• Previous experience in the culinary field, specifically in pizza preparation or fine dining environments
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
• Experience with dietary department operations or as a dietary aide is a plus
• Familiarity with meal preparation and catering services
• Proficient knife skills
• Background in restaurant or kitchen environments preferred
• Willing to train
