•Perform high-quality welding of carbon steel pipework.
•Weld pipework in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
•Read and interpret isometric drawings, fabrication drawings and piping layouts.
•Prepare pipework for welding, including cutting, beveling, grinding and fit-up.
•Ensure correct alignment and joint preparation prior to welding.
•Produce welds that meet visual inspection and project quality requirements.
•Work closely with Pipe Fitters, Supervisors and Project Teams.
•Carry out weld repairs where required.
•Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe and organised working environment.
•Comply with all Health & Safety legislation, company procedures and quality standards
Requirements
Essential Requirements
•Minimum 3 years' proven experience welding carbon steel pipework within mechanical services, industrial or construction environments.
•Experience welding using TIG root and MMA (Stick) fill and cap, or equivalent approved welding processes.
•Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and piping layouts.
•Strong understanding of pipe fabrication, fit-up and welding techniques.
•Ability to consistently produce high-quality welds to specification.
•Good understanding of safe welding practices and quality standards.
•Good spoken and written English.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to relocate to Ireland and work on various project locations.
