Physiotherapy Lead
Goring Hall Hospital
37.5 Hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to £51,900.00 per year
(depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy Lead to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy care across all relevant clinical areas.
  • Maintain a specialist caseload, providing expert assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation planning.
  • Support complex case management, clinical supervision, and decision-making across the team.
  • Provide line management and clinical supervision to physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.
  • Support staff development through appraisals, training, mentorship, and CPD planning.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture aligned with organisational values.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the physiotherapy service, including staff rotas, clinic planning, and workload allocation.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
  • Significant post-registration experience, including advanced clinical and leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage physiotherapy services independently effectively.
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills with experience growing outpatient activity and consultant relationships.
  • Experience in supervising staff and supporting service improvement.
  • Postgraduate qualification in a physiotherapy specialty or healthcare leadership.
  • Experience working in private healthcare or across multiple specialties.
  • Experience with clinical governance processes, KPI reporting, recruitment and digital systems.
  • Involvement in research, teaching, or publication and develop new pathways.
