Job description

About the Company

Recover Medical Group is a startup working to make addiction and mental health treatment more effective and accessible for low-income people. We partner with governments to improve outcomes for individuals in need of treatment, focusing on ensuring low-income Americans have access to the best care available. We utilize a harm reduction approach and are dedicated to serving marginalized and underserved communities. As we continue to grow, we are looking for dedicated individuals to grow with us.

Our team includes professionals from Yale Law, UCLA School of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, and former White House staff.

The Opportunity

As a Physician at Recover Medical Group, you will treat patients struggling with substance use. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients at all stages of their recovery journey. You will collaborate with leaders within the organization to maintain program quality, compliance with regulatory standards, and the well-being of both patients and staff. You will be responsible for intakes, follow-ups, developing individualized assessment and plans, medication management, communicating with patients in between appointments for urgent needs, and timely documentation. You’ll collaborate regularly with the rest of the treatment team consisting of the medical director, therapists, and case managers to provide comprehensive treatment plans for patients. This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable working independently, will take ownership of patient care, build rapport, and who works well in a collaborative team environment. You’ll have the opportunity to grow with us, and work with patients from across the state.
