Physician - Family / Internal Medicine

One of the leading healthcare groups in Edgewater, FL is looking for an outpatient Family Care / Internal Medicine Physician for our close-knit and highly collaborative unit of family care professionals providing services to a local community of 70 - 75 thousand people.

Situated along New Smyrna Beach, the neighborhood has within the distance of a few minutes the finest beaches in the country - and all kinds of leisure & recreational facilities including watersports, biking weeks, kayak, fishing. The area is family oriented with good schools to raise kids and provide them with top quality local education.

The role entails collaborating with our local Edgewater-New Smyrna Beach community in order to bring them the already fantastic healthcare services that we have been delivering over the years. This position works closely with the Medical Director

Major responsibilities include:

Work in collaboration with the Medical Director and provide outpatient care to the local community

4-5 days a week. Tue - Fri to start with. 5 days expected as we move along

Up to 25-27 visits/day. Patients in the range of 12-100 y/o

Learn if needed procedures to make/complement the practice

Take part in occasional office duties are they are presented

Take phone calls one night in a week, and 1 weekend out of 5

Thorough knowledge and understanding of e-Clinical

Computer savvy

Knowledge of ICD-10 coding

Requirements

Active FL license

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred, but not a must

Longevity is requested
