Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Physician to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide medical evaluations and treatment plans for patients dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. As part of our collaborative team, you will engage with patients through telehealth sessions to ensure they receive personalized care that promotes their well-being and recovery.

Responsibilities:

·        Conduct thorough medical assessments and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.

·        Provide ongoing management of treatment, ensuring that patients receive appropriate medications and supportive therapies.

·        Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

·        Maintain clear and accurate electronic health records in compliance with NorthStar Care protocols and standards.

·        Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment protocols.

·        Remain accessible for consultation and support via telehealth and other communication channels.

Requirements

·        MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

·        Current medical license in good standing and active DEA certification.

·        Experience in addiction medicine or psychiatry preferred.

·        Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and utilize telehealth technology.

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.

·        Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
