Surgical Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner- Connecticut

Surgical Practice seeks PA/NP candidates to work with their outstanding surgical team in Bridgeport Connecticut.

Candidate will provide assistance to the Surgeon with the clinical care and treatment of patients and will display professional competency in the OR while assisting surgeon during surgery

Provider assists with bedside procedures as appropriate within the delineation of privileges. Identifies and provides for the teaching of patients, families and other health care providers. 

With the supervision of a Physician performs complete histories and physicals on patients of all ages to establish and record patient's current health status and to develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan to provide continuing medical care, including daily examinations, writing orders, chart notes, discharging patients and completing discharge summaries.

Order, collect and perform appropriate laboratory or diagnostic procedures, and studies. Perform diagnostic studies such as, but not limited to, EMG, electrocardiogram, compartment pressure measurements, and x-ray examinations including special x-ray examinations CT, MRI, and bone scans

1-2 years experienced preferred as a certified PA/NP
