Position Summary:
Las Colinas Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a per diem basis. The PTA will assist in providing quality physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients maximize mobility, function, and quality of life in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and mobility training
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT
• Provide patient and family education as directed
• Document treatments and patient responses in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements Nethealth and Point Click Care systems.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, facility policies, and applicable regulations

Qualifications:

• Current, valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• CPR certification (required)
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
