Responsible for the treatment of patients with sensory or motor deficits which mobility or functional performance of gross motor activities; Performs the initial evaluation of the patient & provides follow up treatment & feedback to the staff therapist to effectively plan for discharge. Serves as a member of the Rehabilitation Dept & is an integral component of the interdisciplinary medical team that strives to return the patient to his/her highest level of functional independence. Treats all patients on assigned rotations, in addition to providing cross coverage of the department's other rotations and the Rehabilitation Division's other locations/sites, as need dictates. This position works under the direct supervision of the team leader.


Minimum Education Required
2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
Completion of approved education curriculum as a physical therapy assistant State of Ohio licensure.
