Overview:

Sentara is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for an outpatient rehab therapy center in Virginia Beach, Virginia

This is a Full Time Day shift opportunity with great benefits.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will:

• Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under supervision of a physical therapist.
• May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
• Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Education:

• Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)

Certification:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQIAmerican Heart Association (AHA) RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
