Success Factors

Arrive to work 10 min early and ensure clinic is patient ready by start time.

Provide a clean and organized environment for patients, including laundry, and supply of linens.  Keeping survey question re: cleanliness of clinic, >95%:  An integral part of 5-star, anticipatory care is doing what it takes to be prepared for the day.  Getting the clinic patient-ready requires a thorough inventory of the supplies and equipment required for the day’s treatments, as well as a functional knowledge of the day’s schedule.  Being prepared isn’t simply part of the job, it IS your job.

Demonstrate empathy and compassion when communicating with patients.  Survey question re: friendliness of staff >95%:  Actions express priorities, and our patients can feel that their well-being and their experience is the most important thing to all of our team members.  From the top down, getting our patients better and back to life is our top priority.  Your first impression and discharge survey scores reflect the satisfaction your patients have with their exSPEARience!

Introduce self and/or greet every patient that enters the treatment area by name: You greet every patient (and teammate!) who walks in and out of the office with a smile and you treat everyone in our practice with SPEARIT.

If there is any patient in the gym, the tech must be present:  Actively listening to and proactively guiding our patients through their exercises are vital components of your role as a PT Tech.  Being a proactive and mindful PT Tech requires vigilance and anticipation as well as being present to answer any of our patients’ inquiries.

Strong communication skills are a must!

Athletic experience a plus.

Position involves working closely with clients/patients as well as some front desk administrative duties.

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
