Sports Physical Therapy – Kirkland | Outpatient Orthopedic & Performance PT
SPT Kirkland is a sports and orthopedic physical therapy clinic built for clinicians who want to grow fast, think critically, and deliver high-level care to active adults and athletes.
We operate in an open-gym, movement-based environment focused on objective testing, progressive rehab, and real-world performance outcomes—not passive, volume-driven care.
This role is designed for:
- New grads who want structured mentorship and a fast learning curve
- High performers who want autonomy, efficiency, and a results-driven environment
If you’re looking for a place to coast, this isn’t it. If you want to get better quickly and be surrounded by a strong team, you’ll fit right in
Your First 30–60 Days
- Structured onboarding with clear expectations
- Side‑by‑side collaboration with the Clinic Director and PTs
- Gradual progression toward full independence
- Early emphasis on clinical reasoning, efficiency, and communication
What You Will Do
- Treat orthopedic and sports‑related conditions under the direction of a PT
- Coach patients through exercise progressions, movement retraining, and load management
- Apply manual therapy techniques when they meaningfully support patient outcomes
- Contribute to clinical decision‑making rather than simply following a protocol
- Document efficiently during the workday so you’re not taking notes home
Clinic Environment
- Active, open‑gym model with minimal passive modalities
- Structured schedule that supports high‑quality care and therapist efficiency
- Collaborative team culture with high standards, accountability, and mutual support
- Patient population: active adults, athletes, and motivated individuals who want to get better and stay better
Mentorship & Growth
- Direct access to the Clinic Director for real‑time feedback, treatment guidance, and case review
- Weekly or biweekly 1:1 check‑ins focused on your development, performance, and goals
- Clear growth trajectory: confidence → efficiency → autonomy
- Strong emphasis on clinical reasoning so you can deliver individualized, high‑value care—not cookie‑cutter programs
- Licensed (or soon-to-be licensed) Physical Therapist Assistant in Washington State
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Interest in sports, movement, and performance-based rehab
Who This Is a Good Fit For
- New grads who are coachable, motivated, and want to accelerate their growth
- Clinicians who take ownership and want to improve—not just “get through the day”
- People who value efficiency, accountability, and outcomes
- Those interested in sports rehab, orthopedics, and active populations
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $30.00-$35.00/hr.
- Productivity bonus opportunities
- CEU allowance + MedBridge access
- Flexible scheduling
- Up to 4 weeks PTO + paid holidays
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- 401(k) with employer match
