PHP Developer

iScale Solutions works with technology companies to effectively scale their development, support and operations processes.

We are looking for PHP developer (with CodeIgniter experience) to develop, maintain and enhance the back end of our application servicing our branded mobile apps. You will be responsible for designing and building a highly scalable, extensible, and maintainable backend layer that is used by a large number of concurrent users globally. You will work in a highly agile environment and collaborate with a global team of engineers.

• Bachelor degree in computer science or similar engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years in Object Oriented PHP development, CodeIgniter knowledge is a must
• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles and patterns.
• Fully experienced with LAMP stack.
• Experience with PHPUnit is a plus.
• Experience and desire to work within a Agile, fast-paced, iterative development environment.

In addition to the above, company fully runs on Amazon Web Services and is using a variety of AWS services like S3, SQS, SES, etc, experience with these technologies is a plus.
