About Straub Collaborative

Straub Collaborative is a leading creative production studio specializing in high-volume eCommerce photography and visual content for global brands. Our teams operate in a fast-paced studio environment where creativity, technical precision, and collaboration drive the production of world-class imagery.

We are seeking an experienced Photographer Level 2 to support on-model and product photography shoots in our Portland studio. This role plays a critical part in executing high-quality imagery, directing on-set production, and ensuring consistency with client standards and workflows.

  • Ensure accuracy in focus, exposure, color, and composition
  • Execute against shot lists and deliver required image counts
  • Maintain precision in file naming, metadata, and shot tracking

  • Ensure files are uploaded, organized, and archived correctly
  • Partner with production to hit daily output goals and timelines
  • Provide accurate time estimates and support scheduling needs
  • Keep production efficient without sacrificing quality

Drive Consistency & Improvement

  • Participate in pre-production planning and post-shoot reviews
  • Build and maintain lighting diagrams, references, and visual guides
  • Identify ways to improve speed, consistency, and workflow
  • Document processes to support repeatability across teams

Support the Studio Team

  • Mentor and support junior photographers
  • Collaborate with stylists, producers, and studio leadership
  • Maintain organized digital and physical workspaces
  • Assist with studio setup, breakdown, and general operations

What You Bring

  • 2–3 years of experience in commercial or e-commerce photography
  • Strong portfolio showing studio-based or high-volume work
  • Confidence directing talent and managing on-set dynamics

  • Comfortable working on Mac systems

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and work on a studio floor for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in low-light environments with frequent lighting changes
  • Ability to move throughout studio and warehouse spaces

Work Environment
