  • As part of your doctoral research, you will be responsible for the development of test content for the characterization of inertial MEMS on wafer level.
  • Your work will involve the design and characterization of inertial MEMS test chips in direction of Stiction and Robustness.
  • You will also develop innovative techniques and ideas that can subsequently be transferred to real products
  • Education: You have a master's degree with excellent grades in physics, electrical engineering, communications engineering, software engineering, or a similar field
  • Experience: experience with FPGA systems and tools, background in analog electronics, circuit design and simulation experience (e.g. Ansys, Comsol, etc.)
  • Knowledge: understanding of electrical measurement techniques, programming skills (required: C++, Python, Matlab) and Knowledge about Semiconductors and MEMS
  • Personality: Strong team player and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams, self-organized way of working
  • Languages: Good in English and German (B2) communication skills

The final PhD topic is subject to your university.
