The New York office of a worldwide law firm seeks a PhD Organic Chemistry associate with a minimum of 1 year experience for drafting and prosecuting patent applications, supporting IP due diligence, patent litigation and other intellectual property matters in the area of small molecule therapeutics and related fields.  This is a great opportunity to join a law firm that values their employees as well as thier clients. 

Candidates must have at least a master's degree in organic or medicinal chemistry with industry experience or a PhD in organic or medicinal chemistry, or a PhD in chemistry with a strong emphasis in organic or medicinal chemistry and a J.D.  Must have experience researching, writing and reading scientific publications involving organic or medicinal chemistry.  Work experience in a relevant field is desirable.
