Reimagine What’s Possible 

- Ensure that the acetylene plant is operated in the safest manner by following all the Air Products safety requirements.

- To be responsible on smooth operation of acetylene sludge facility plant by carrying out the following:

• Operation of filter press to prepare the dry sludge cake.

• Transfer sludge cake into jumbo bags.

• Prepare corrals with filter cloth for sludge filtration and smooth operation.

• Update the corrals status and report to supervisor.

• Record of filter press usage status and corral usage status in checklist

• To follow all the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• To start and shutdown sludge facility plant as required by superior.

• To report to superior for any plant abnormalities.

• To ensure good housekeeping of plants and peripheral areas.

• To be responsible for optimizing production output and to achieve carbide yield.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• SRP/SPM holder.

• Preferably 1 year of experience in plant operations.

• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

• Staying in Gopeng or willing to relocate there.
