Job Responsibilities:

• Understand and master the musical style and performance nuances of the designated repertoire.
• Collaborate with the resident music director and operation team in daily rehearsals and performances to ensure the highest quality of production.
• Adapt flexibly to the show director’s requirements.
• Maintain and take care for instruments and props required for performances.
• Maintain professionalism during performances to ensure stage order and safety.
• Deliver consistent and high-quality performances across multiple shows.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with fellow performers, musicians, and technical crew.

Job Requirements:

• Professional experience in Shaanbei storytelling performances, stage and theater performance experience is a strong plus.
• Able to accurately play the sanxian, perform storytelling and si kuai (four-block percussion), with the ability to read simplified notation and strong stage performance skills. Must also possess a solid understanding of Shaanbei storytelling and a willingness to learn.
