Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Performance Testing)

Job Summary:

The Software QA Performance Engineer is responsible for planning and implementing the quality assurance procedures for daily, milestone and release candidate Performance testing of the enterprise product. QA Performance Engineer must display individual motivation and the ability to respond with innovation to new technological problems and new product possibilities. As a member of the Performance team, will be responsible for creating and executing of performance test scripts using Load Runner and VSTS. Performance Test Engineer will also work with current development team creating new products and enhancing existing products within the SDLC Agile methodology

Job Responsibilities:

1. Create and execute performance test scripts in accordance with best practices & techniques, gather metrics, record raw data and prepare test results

2. Analyse system performance limitations and determining the best approach and techniques to test.

3. Participate in daily scrum, provide accurate and concise status, and escalate issues.

4. Collaborate with product owners and developers to create performance test requirements and acceptance criteria.

5. Perform technical and non-functional validations (response time, architecture pattern, resource consumptions, and etc.) across the development life cycle

6. Providing application profiling support to assist in defect analysis and application and system tuning

Responsibilities:

1. 5+ years of experience delivering high quality enterprise software products\

2. 3+ years of experience in Performance test scripting using Load Runner and VSTS 

3. Demonstrated proficiency with database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server)

4. Must be able to work cross functionally and effectively communicate with co-workers and all levels both verbally and written

5. Experience in Agile software development methodology

6. Experience with Microsoft Azure

Skills: 

1. Expert and proven knowledge of the quality assurance life cycle

2. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are required

3. Must be able to routinely work with little or no supervision

4. Excellent analytical and problem solving ability

5. Ability and experience to understand user stories and acceptance criteria

6. Strong familiarity with Business Intelligence and Business Analytics
