London Office on site Until 9/20/2026 3+ years exp First posted July 22, 2026 Last posted July 22, 2026
Job description

We pull medical technology from the future to solve human health.

Authorised by governments around the world to assess medical AI, we remove unnecessary delays from every regulatory approval we do so patients get devices from the future, today. We are proud to count the world’s most ambitious companies building medical technology as customers. You will be joining a team with product-market fit, flowing data, and exponentially growing revenue.

Who you are

  • You have at least 3-4 years’ work experience in operations or start-ups

  • You are driven, hungry for ownership, and want to develop in a fast-growth, high-performing environment

  • You are a builder, rather than a specialist looking to run an established function, who is excited to scale back-end systems and processes to enable business operations to grow exponentially

  • You already use LLMs and AI tools in your work, and reach for automation by instinct

  • You are genuinely fascinated by what makes hiring and onboarding excellent for candidates and hiring managers

  • You approach problems from first principles and adhere to MECE principles

  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, suited to an asynchronous environment

Desirable

  • You've configured or built on tools like Ashby, Rippling, or Deel

  • You've dealt with complex business operations such as multi-jurisdictions or EORs

  • You've worked in a start-up environment with high ownership

What the job involves

Scarlet has ambitions to scale its business globally and you will build tools and systems to enable that.

  • Become the super-user and owner of our ATS (Ashby) and HRIS (Rippling/Deel) systems, optimising them end-to-end

  • Build workflows, integrations, and automations — AI-powered where productive — so that foundational people-related data is systematic and processes run themselves

  • Unlock the productivity of hiring managers with tooling, templates, and scheduling to enable rapid and high-quality hiring processes across the world

  • Improve Scarlet’s ability to source top-tier talent across different functions and roles

  • Design onboarding journeys that get new teammates productive fast, optimising across finance, legal and operations to achieve a fantastic first week in the office

  • Handle employee contracting, contractor onboarding, and EOR management using HRIS effectively in order to scale business operations globally

  • Own salary and compensation administration, and support payroll across various entities and employment arrangements

The interview process

  1. Intro call with Marco - 30 mins

  2. Call with Emily - 30 mins

  3. Technical interview with Marco - 1 hour
