Job Description Summary:

Evaluates and treats patient populations for speech-language therapy needs within an assigned area.

Job Description:

Assesses patient's ability to safely and effectively perform speech/language skills. Designs the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.

Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities. Documents subjective, objective, assessment findings and plan, and patient progress.

Educates and counsels patients and family/caregiver. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.

Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Some employees in this job may operate a motor vehicle to conduct MaineGeneral Health business.

Compensation Information:

$35.45 - $62.04 USD Hourly

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
