The University of Missouri's Division Pediatric of Emergency Medicine is growing and seeks ABPEM BE/BC pediatric emergency medicine physicians interested in joining our team. Great candidates will be energetic, thoughtful, collaborative, and ready to build upon a foundation of excellence in clinical care, teaching, administrative leadership, and research.

The Department of Emergency Medicine at a Glance:

• With approximately 50 faculty members, 40 APPs, and 31 residents across 8 clinical locations
• 16-bed Pediatric EM unit expected to open December 2024
• 68 total EM Beds
• Sees approximately 120,000 visits annually 
• Home to the Frank L. Mitchell Jr., MD, Trauma Center, central Missouri's only American College of Surgeons-verified Level I trauma center.
• The hospital is a certified Level I stroke and STEMI center and an active tertiary care referral center
• Staff includes dedicated ED pharmacist, social workers, and research support 

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of a U.S.-based and accredited pediatric emergency medicine fellowship 
• ABPEM BE/BC
• ABEM BE/BC
• MD/DO
• Active and unencumbered MO license or ability to secure one
