Job Description

Prepares and serves food under the direction of the Kitchen Supervisor. Responsibilities include cleaning and delivery of food to sites.

Department: Peace Meal

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours a week required

Shift: Monday - Friday: 5:30am to 2:00pm (no nights, weekends or holidays).

Required: Valid IL Driver's License, Automobile Insurance, Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire

Pay: based on experience, starting at $16.94 and hour

Responsibilities

Assists/supports Kitchen Supervisor in ordering and inventory control., Cleans dishes, pans, equipment and kitchen area., Delivers food to sites or seniors., Ensures that pans / dishes are washed, sanitized and put away appropriately., Maintains a clean, safe, sanitary working environment. Complies with sanitation regulations and standards established by all regulatory agencies., Maintains the safe operation of all food service equipment., Prepares food as directed by Peace Meal Kitchen Supervisor., Prepares food for cooking., Prepares raw and cooked food for proper storage. Ensures that all foods are covered, labeled, dated., Sets up and serves food on site., Stocks all food supplies in accordance with regulatory guidelines., Uses recipes and menus to cook food.
