Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift 8:00am - 4:30pm | Monday - Friday
Department: Dining Services | Day Center

The Lowell Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable PCA | Dietary Aide | Universal Worker to join our team. This unique role combines food service responsibilities with personal care support, ensuring our participants receive nutritious meals and the respectful, hands-on care they deserve.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

 

In the Day Center:

• Assist participants with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Support mobility and use of assistive devices.
• Escort participants to activities and appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in participant condition.
• Help with recreation and physical activities.
• Assist participants entering and exiting transportation vehicles

In the Kitchen:

• Prepare, assemble, and deliver meals based on dietary needs.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and dish room areas.
• Stock pantries and manage food inventory.
• Ensure food safety and complete required logs.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with elderly or frail populations.
• Food service experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented.
