Description:

Highland Hills Retirement Village is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. As a PCA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring they maintain dignity, comfort, and a high quality of life in a warm and supportive environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting their overall well-being.

  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration.

  • Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health, behavior, or needs to nursing staff.

  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.

  • Follow care plans and work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other staff.

  • Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols.

  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and organizing residents' living spaces.
     

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or relevant experience in caregiving preferred.

  • Previous experience in a senior living, assisted living, or healthcare setting is a plus.

  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.

  • Must pass background checks and drug screening as required.
