As a Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and managing employee benefit programs. You will collaborate closely with HR, finance, and other departments to guarantee smooth payroll operations and comprehensive benefits administration.

POSITION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Payroll Processing: 

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations 

  • Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and commissions 

  • Validate and process employee time and attendance data 

  • Address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll-related inquiries 

  • Benefits Administration: 

  • Oversee employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits 

  • Coordinate open enrollment processes, communicating benefit options to employees and facilitating enrollment or changes 

  • Serve as a point of contact for benefits-related queries and assist employees with understanding their benefits packages 

  • Manage employee wellness program
