Responsibilities




  • Process semi-monthly payroll using Workday HRIS, payroll reports, and 401(k) reporting to third party provider
  • Participate in the weekly new hire orientation facilitating new hire paperwork and processing into Workday HRIS
  • Primary contact for all new hires, responsible for providing excellent customer service
  • Work with hourly staff and approving managers to coordinate time and attendance
  • Assist HR Director to ensure proper compliance with all government agencies related to payroll taxes
  • Review background screens for all new hires and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Help maintain the HR section of company intranet including all team member contact cards
  • Coordinates the ordering of business cards for new hires and current team members
 
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1-3 years human resource coordination or administrative assistance experience
  • Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Exposure to payroll processing a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail while progressing multiple transactions
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office required
  • Capacity to prioritize work assignments
  • A confident attitude and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to thrive in a rapid paced and dynamic business environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Workday experience a plus
  • PHR certification a plus
