Payroll Analyst | Parramatta

We are looking to hire a customer focused and enthusiastic Payroll Analyst to join our Shared Services Centre in Parramatta.

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday in our modern office, which is located less than 10 minutes' walk from the nearest train station.

As our Payroll Analyst, you'll be:

• Handling end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing (think super, tax, and leave payments etc).

• Keeping employee payroll records up-to-date.

• Supporting staff and management on payroll related queries.

• Interpreting awards, agreements, and contracts for overtime and shift allowances.

• Calculating and processing annual leave, LSL provisions/accruals and termination payments

• Processing pay increases/changes and back pay calculations.

• Maintaining electronic employee files to meet legal requirements.

• Generating payroll reports to meet internal and statutory obligations.

To be successful in this role, we're looking for someone who has:

• At least 2 years of payroll experience.

• A degree or diploma in HR or Accounting (a big plus!).

• Intermediate skills with large payroll systems and MS Excel. SAP experience will also be highly regarded.

• A solid understanding of Australian legislation for PAYG Tax, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax and related compliance obligations.

• A team player attitude with a proven track record of collaboration.

• A passion for delivering excellent customer service and results.

• High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and organise your work to meet deadlines.
