St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Patient Transporter for the Departure Lounge unit located at our Edgewood, Kentucky location.

Hours & Shift: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday; shift is 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.

A Patient Transporter transports patients and patient associated items as requested throughput hospital stay or to departure lounge and to vehicle for discharge to ensure customer service and throughput needs are met. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Qualifications

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

• High School Graduate, GED, or general education requirements for the country that education was obtained

Specialized Knowledge: 

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work independently, interdependently, and set priorities

• Demonstrates the ability to accept and adapt to change
