PATIENT CARE DIRECTOR – RN – NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT - LEVEL IV - 

 Location: United States - New York - New York City

Bring your transformational leadership and drive the success of our 58-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Lead the daily operations of our cutting-edge department and lead a team of highly trained clinical experts in neonatal/infant nursing care. Provide strategic oversight for the Neonatal program while managing day to day unit operations in collaboration with the rest of the nursing leadership team. Mentor and evaluate staff to reach their full potential and inspire their continued professional growth. Excel as a change agent, advancing initiatives focused on improving quality and performance throughout. 

Preferred Criteria 
·     At least three years of management experience within a large academic medical center
 Required Criteria 
·     Master's degree in a health related field (MS in Nursing, Health Care Administration)
·     Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
·     Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
·     Three years of clinical nursing experience with neonates
·     Nursing leadership experience (Manager level and above) in a Level IV NICU

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS [note: bold skills and certification are required

]Master's degree in a health related field (MS in Nursing, Health Care Administration) Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain within 3 months) 

At least three years of clinical nursing experience with neonates Leadership experience - Director level strongly preferred but open to Level IV NICU Managers Strongly prefer at least three years of management experience within a large academic medical center

Leadership experience needs to be in a Level III or Level IV NICU - level IV required for Managers Strongly prefer experience within a large, academic hospital and/or Children's Hospital Security Clearance Required:
