Altru Health is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist with sub-specialty training in Hematopathology to join our community hospital-based practice of 5 pathologists.We are seeking strong experience in general surgical pathology, cytopathology and clinical pathology. Ideal candidate should be a team player with strong diagnostic and communication skills, willing to contribute to a collegial and supportive environment within a practice that values high-quality diagnostic and clinical services.
Essential Job Functions:
Position Highlights:
General surgical and cytopathology sign out
Annual test volumes: Surgical, Cytology, Bone Marrow
Strong interest in expanding hematopathology services including bone marrow case sign out, lymphoma work up and flow cytometry
Medical Director oversight of critical access regional hospital laboratories
Excellent work hours with minimal call
Opportunity for teaching Residents, Medical Students and other health care students from the University of North Dakota
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Board certified / board eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
Board certified / board eligible in Hematopathology subspecialty preferred
Active North Dakota and Minnesota License or eligible to obtain
Proficiency in general surgical pathology, cytopathology, ROSE and frozen sections with 2-3 years practicing experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
