The billing rate is determined based on the candidate’s experience.  It is generally at a higher percentage than other prominent IP Boutiques.

A large Intellectual Property (IP) firm is looking to hire top tier patent attorneys nationwide with degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or an advanced degree in chemistry/biotech.  Successful candidates will have 2+ years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution.  Positions are available in the main offices as well as at satellite locations across the country.  All candidates are required to provide (a) 3 to 4 patents/applications and (b) 2 to 3 responses to office actions.

It provides an excellent benefit package and a competitive compensation package.  There is a minimum billing requirement of 1700 hours per year.  Attorneys receive additional bonuses for hours in excess of 1700.

Patent/IP Law

2+ years of prep and pros experience as a patent attorney

JD from a top 100 law school

An EE, CS, or CE degree or an advanced degree in chemistry/biotech required
