JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science is seeking students to work under the direction of William Syrett to take official cooperative weather observations for the National Weather Service consisting of daily temperature and precipitation records, assist with the production of a weekday television weather broadcast and occasionally give tours to prospective students and their families if interested. Weekend and break work are required. Meteorology undergraduate students are excellent candidates for this position.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
