Job Description
Title: In-Office Patient Care Coordinator (Front Desk)
Location: San Clemente, CA
Type: Part time, On-site
Portrait and The Aesthetic Journey is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator who is experienced in Medical Aesthetics to join our highly skilled team. An ideal candidate excels in customer service, is detail oriented, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, is excellent at multitasking, thrives working in a fast paced environment and has a positive can-do attitude.
Patient Care Coordinator Responsibilities
Administrative Tasks:
- Greet and check-in/out patients in a warm, professional manner
- Managing patient inquiries, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and replying to non-clinical patient questions
- Proactive schedule management
- Example: If a patient cancels, fill in gap with another patient
- Maintain organized and efficient patient flow and daily schedule
- Verify patient information and assist with new patient onboarding
- Process payments and manage point-of-sale system
- Maintain a clean and adequately stocked clinical environment
- Assist with inventory tracking and ordering front desk supplies
- Clean and prepare treatment rooms based on scheduled procedures
- Communicate with the medical team to ensure patients have received a good faith exam and are medically cleared for treatment
- Work with pharmaceutical reward programs to redeem patient points
- Coordinate patient reminders and follow-up communications
- Support team members during special events, photoshoots, & trainings
- Represent the Portrait and The Aesthetic Journey brand in a professional manner at all times
- Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance within the practice
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications and Skills For Patient Care Coordinator
- Excellent and professional patient interaction and customer service skills
- Preferred 2+ years of experience in medspa, cosmetic surgery, or dermatology practice
- Previous experience with EMR preferred
- Must be able to multitask and perform tasks accurately and consistently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of HIPAA and OSHA
- Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision
Compensation:
- $20 per Hour
- This is an on-site, part-time position
- 24 hours per week
