JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Shenango, located in Sharon, PA, seeks a part-time lecturer to teach Introduction to Psychology in person. There is potential for teaching other introductory or intermediate courses, as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of an earned master’s degree in psychology or closely related field. 
  • Prior teaching at the college level is strongly preferred.  
  • Experience using classroom technology is strongly preferred.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
